It wasn't all that long ago... -Remember the devastation Jackson, and West Tennessee recieved from tornados ripping through our city May 4th 2003?
-Remember the rebuilding that had to take place? -Remember the 11 people that will killed because of that devastating tornado? -Remember the generosity we recieved from people near and far that helped rebuild our community? It's our turn to help now... You watched May 4th of this year in horror, as Greenburg, Kansas was also devestated by a tornado. In fact, it destroyed most of the town... 90% of Greensburg's buildings
were totaled. Money is the most critical short-term need following a disaster like this. And we know first hand, don't we? Let's raise money, and help Greensburg
get back on their feet. For now, Those wishing to help
with the city's efforts to raise money for Greensburg may donate funds
at any FirstBank, or at Deaton's Carpet One in Jackson. We know and understand the critical needs that follow a disaster like this, and we know first hand how important outside help can be. We can never repay the outside people that helped us in our time of need... but we can pass it on by helping others who are in a time of need much like we were 4 years ago. That time is now... It's time for us to reach out to our brothers and sisters in Greensburg and support them in this time of need. |
